This is an introduction to Himalayan trekking with luxury. Instead of camping, on this trip we stay at deluxe lodges which have been recently built along the trail. On this 10-day, fully supported trek, we peek into the lives of the Sherpa people and behold Mount Everest and its towering neighbors from our vantage point at Thyangboche Monastery. The trail links the villages of Lukla, Namche Bazaar, Khumjung with Thyangboche. The view of Nepal's largest monastery complex, dramatically perched high atop a forested ridge beneath Everest, is a memorable experience for trekkers and pilgrims alike.
